Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business + Previous experience in accounting and/or auditing + fluency in English and Spanish + strong MS Office skills + Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

The Team You Will Join

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Luxembourg team. The role involves accounting and reporting for several financing and holding entities, ensuring compliance with LuxGAAP and IFRS standards. You will report directly to the Accounting and Reporting Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Reporting:
    • Maintain general and sub-ledgers for assigned entities.
    • Ensure accurate accounting in line with LuxGAAP and IFRS.
    • Support monthly closing and external audit processes.

  • SOX Compliance Support:
    • Collect and organize documentation for SOX controls.
    • Assist with control testing and evidence review.
    • Track deadlines and maintain control calendars.

  • Operational Tasks:
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
    • Contribute to SAP ERP harmonization projects.
    • Identify and implement improvements in procedures and controls.
    • Participate in ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting and/or auditing.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, LuxGAAP, and SOX requirements.
  • Experience with monthly closing and external audits.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
